Short Story (Draft)

Theme: Disappointment, Man 70's
Setting: rural environment
Place : Beddgelert, Gwynedd, Wales, UK
Plot: conventional

     He is a great man who lives in a country side. He is living his perfect life with his wife on his side, having a lovely fat cat, one grand daughter, one grand son and a field with apple trees. He always makes time for his family and his apple trees in the backyard. His name is Dwayne. Jessica is his wife.
     "Didn't I put my coat here?" says Dwayne as he confusedly looking for his fur brown coat that happened to be missing when he needs it.
     "You didn't put it here, Dwayne" Audrey walks to the kitchen and grabs something above the refrigerator. "You put it here, Dwayne" as she walks closer to Dwayne, bringing a red colored hat.
     "Thank you" Dwayne smiles sincerely as he grabs his hat and put it on his head. "I'm going to see my apples" Dwayne walks away to his backyard.
     Dwayne is the type of a man who is willing to make himself happy by doing whatever he likes as long as it does not harm other people. Even though he is in his 70s, he is still full of spirit to plant a tree especially an apple tree.
     "Grandma, what happen?" a young teenage girl voice shouted from a far. She is Lily, her grand daughter. Lily looks concerned when she saw her grandmother's eyes that looking to the backyard as she feels empty.
        "Why all of sudden, you startled me"
         Lily and Jaden has been living with their grand parents for two years. Their parents passed away since then because of the traumatic accident in their family holiday trip.
          Since Lily and Jack moved here, there are a lot of strange things or behavior that their grand parents do.
           "Jaden, take a look at grandfather, perhaps he needs your help"
