CREATIVE WRITING (Flash Fiction)

Theme             : Disappointment

Character         : Man in 70s

Setting             : Rural area in England

I smell the fresh air in this morning and I begin to start my activity like I usually do. I have an animal farm for raising my cows and sheep. I have certain cows that I have been raised since they were small and I do not want it being taken from anyone.

On the February 18^th, I go out to the town for meeting my relatives, and I leave the farm to my child. I told him that someone will be come to our farm later to buy the cows that he wants. I also told him which cows that should be given to the buyer. After I got home for going for a while, I immediately check my farm to see my cows. I shock while seeing at my farm, my favourite cows is not at the place. I call my son and ask "Where is my cows, son?" then he reply "Someone bought your cows, isn't it? So, I told them to brought it with them". I sigh and ask him again "Didn't I told you to not give that cows to them? I told you to give another cows in the farm." He defended himself and say "How would I know to give which cows to them? All of them look the same"

I am disappointed with my son action. I am sure that I have told him before, even though I know it is also my fault to not differentiate the cows that should be given to the buyer.
